Acme Oyster House
724 Iberville Street | Louisiana | New Orleans | USA
Phone: (504) 522-5973

Since 1910, Acme Oyster House has provided the freshest oysters in New Orleans. Along with our noted fried seafood and genuine New Orleans dishes, such as Red Beans and Rice, Gumbo and Jambalaya, Acme offers a true taste of the "Big Easy".

If you're planning to visit our city, you might want to check out our New Orleans dictionary while you're here. You'll get along much better if you speak the lingo.

Also, check out our Acme Gear, scan our menu, learn all about the oyster industry, or find us and other attractions on our map of the French Quarter. Since 1910, Acme Oyster House has been pleasing the palates of discriminating diners. Originally located around the corner at 117 Royal Street, the Acme Cafe, as it was then called, was nestled next to the old Cosmopolitan Hotel, described by the New Orleans Item as "for 50 years the scene of the making and breaking of Louisiana politicians".
